Krust does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or usage telemetry. Your Kubernetes clusters, configurations, and workflows stay entirely on your machine.

Data We Do Not Collect

License Activation

When you activate a Krust Pro license, the app communicates with LemonSqueezy (our payment processor) to validate your license key. This exchange includes:

AI Diagnostic Agent

The AI diagnostic feature sends Kubernetes resource data (pod specs, events, logs) to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis. This data:

The AI feature is opt-in — it only activates when you explicitly request a diagnosis. No data is sent in the background.

Software Updates

Krust uses Sparkle for update checks. When checking for updates, your Mac contacts our update server to compare version numbers. No personal data is transmitted. You can disable update checks in Settings.

Website

The krust.io website uses Google Analytics to understand visitor traffic (pages visited, referral sources). No personal data is collected beyond standard analytics. The waitlist signup is processed by Buttondown under their privacy policy.
